Contracted to sing at Tokyo Disneyland's Tomorrow Land for one year.
E.S.Island album released with Polydore Records.
1992
Minami Kaze from Hachijo album released while living in Hachijojima. Starland Records.
1994
Performs with Hachijo Drums at Chemainus on Vancouver Island.

Performs with Hachijo drums at the Canadian Embassy in Canada.

Environmental Activism

August 8, 1988
Sponsors the Non-Stop Taiko Marathon in response to the Festival of Life being held in Yatsugatake.
1989
Runs for mayor of Hachijojima on an environmental conservationist platform, appealing to Japan to stop destroying the natural environment.
1990
Sends Usagi Gekko Monogatari message to Usagi Mura, Izumo Taishamachi, Shimane Prefecture.
The Young Peoples Association of Usagi Mura names itself Gekkodan, one of whose gassroots members is now the mayor of Izumo Taisha Mura.
1991-1998
Makes public her ideas on living with Nature through songs, lectures and essays.
1998
Meets the endangered Hawaii State Bird Nene on top of Haliakaka valcano in Maui.
2001
Receives the Ogai Mori Autobiographical Literature Prize for her autobiography Jukujo Shoujo.
Today

Majoring in Liberal Arts at The University of Hawaii's Maui Community College.
