平和を求める白いスカーフ
アメリカの友人からのメールを急遽訳しました。ここコナでも
最近、星条旗を掲げる人が増えてきたので、白い旗を増やす
ようにがんばります。

白いスカーフ、白い旗で平和を望む意思表示
カナダのモントリオールの人気ラジオDJが、ホワイトハウスでおきた
ちょっとした事件について話したところ、同時多発の平和運動が始ま
り、今世界中に広まりつつあります。
その事件とはホワイトハウスである女性グループのたちが大統領夫
人と会合を持つことになっていたのだが、そのうちの数人の女性たち
が平和を希望する意思表示として白いスカーフを巻いて出席しようと
していたことが、大統領夫人側にもれ伝わり、急遽、会合がキャンセ
ルされました。この白いシンボルにはパワーがあったのです。

白いハンカチをバックパックやアタッシュケースや学生かばんに結んだり、
白いペナントを車のアンテナに、バルコニーに白い旗を掲げたら、これは
私たちのリーダーへの強力なメッセージになるのではないでしょうか?
